I’m grateful for the recognition. As a journalist, winning the BCRA Best Cultural Reporter award in 2010 was special—it was early in my career. Later, being named Best Reporter by Bangla Tribune three years in a row (2017, 2018, 2019) meant a lot because that’s home turf. On the lyrics side, receiving the CJFB Best Lyricist (Popular) award in 2020 and the Critics' choice in 2023 felt validating—it showed that both audiences and critics were listening.
